The Battersea Society promotes local life and history

The Battersea Society has existed since 1965, its mission being “to celebrate Battersea’s past, support Battersea’s present and promote Battersea’s future”, aiming to achieve this through their core values;

Community: working together to benefit Battersea and its people

Integrity: representing interests fairly across the Battersea community

Discovery: promoting knowledge and recognition of Battersea’s past, present and future.

They regularly organise community events and projects for free or at low cost.  These cover a wide breadth of interest, including outdoor space surveys, heritage research and projects, neighbourhood events, local walks, venue tours and talks on a range of subjects.

Membership starts at £15 for a household of up to 4 people and will provide regular updates and access to exclusive events and resources.
