4 excellent Christmas party venues in Battersea

Christmas is here and it's time to organise your Christmas party. Stressful? Certainly. Fun? Most definitely! Overall, the Yuletide knees-up is a fantastic chance to sit back, relax and bond with colleagues and/or employees.  

Eden Harper have been an estate agent in Battersea since 2002 and in that time we’ve learned a thing or two about the area’s best venues. So with no further ado, here's our quick take on the best places to hold your Christmas party in Battersea:

Battersea Evolution

This venue hosts corporate parties, charity functions and awards dinners so is rather large to say the least! If you’re looking for a very stylish dinner, this is the place for you. There’s so much space to entertain and enjoy having fun. Evolution offers the perfect opportunity to design your own party and there's exceptional food, drink and service on offer. And if you're looking to splash out you could go for bands, laser shows and even get your own décor!
 

Bunga Bunga

One of Battersea's most famous venues, Bunga Bunga is frankly awesome. With its homages to Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and great pizzas there's a Sistine Chapel stairway, live performances and karaoke. No wonder the place gets quickly booked up at Christmas time. The areas available for private hire seven days a week include L'Osservatorio (The Observatory), which can seat 30 people and hold drinks receptions, or even your own private karaoke party, for up to 60 guests. There's also The Gondola Bar, which seats 40 people for private dinner parties and can hold 80 people for drinks and canapé receptions. If not, the pizzeria can hold 40 for drinks and seat 30, while Cocobananas – the two floors above Bunga Bunga is also available.

Battersea Barge

If you're looking for something really different and fun, why not hire the Battersea Barge? Situated over two decks, there's an excellent sound system in the main lounge and upstairs in the River Bar the atmosphere is much more relaxed, allowing party guests to chat and take in the great views. If you decide to hire the barge, you can even decide the theme of your party!

 

The Latchmere

The Latchmere has recently undergone massive regeneration and has restored one of Battersea's most stunning buildings to create an amazing public house and garden. Just a short distance from the river and Battersea Park, if you want to reserve an area for drinks or book a table, it's an ideal venue. With top sound systems, plasma screens and Lucky Voice Karaoke, what more could you ask for? Just make sure you don't get too drunk and blare out 'I will survive' while your colleagues look on stony-faced. There's also sufficient outdoor room, which is always good. Four new garden spaces include a courtyard with over-head heating, terrace and a children’s area.

Wherever you decide to go, just make sure you've asked your colleagues/employees whether they’re vegetarian or teetotal! You want to make sure everyone has a good time and that there are no disasters. Battersea is a fabulous place to hold your annual Christmas bash – enjoy!
