It's not just the property market landscape that has changed significantly since the Eden Harper story began back in 2002 in Battersea, with a new chapter beginning in Brixton five years later. We've happily embraced developments in both business and the South West London skyline and as a result of adjusting accordingly we continue to flourish.
Both Battersea and Brixton have undergone transformations in the intervening years, from the innovative development of Battersea Power Station and the exciting regeneration of Nine Elms to the emergence of vibrant Brixton Village.
But one thing that hasn't changed is our desire to continue to provide a bespoke service. The ethos is borne out of the experience of directors Richard Symes (based in Battersea as sales and lettings manager) and Ajaye Gopal (in Brixton dealing with accounts and HR) working in the corporate sector, where numbers and not necessarily people are key.
Our directors have cultivated a more personalised service with focus on individual attention to detail and a desire to develop long-term relationships with clients. This has led to a harmonious strategy that means landlords, tenants and returning vendors can expect the same high level of service from our team.
And the team is of crucial importance, of course; we pride ourselves in the fact that many of our loyal staff members have been with us for several years, and lived locally have developed a great passion for our areas.
As areas, both Brixton and Battersea continue to thrive and our ability to gauge the market comes from being able to draw on vast reservoir of experience garnered over the years. In that time the business has seen some testing times in the markets, including the credit crunch just as the Brixton office opened for business.
Not only did we weather the storm, but our client base grew rapidly in both sales and lettings. Now we manage over 250 properties for landlords from as far away as Australia and the USA.
Whilst the industry and technology has changed, client expectations and our personal service haven’t. That continuity brings great peace of mind to many of our clients.
