Five-star reviews are good for you, trust us

News at Eden Harper | 18/09/2015

Who doesn’t like a little praise now and again? Here at Eden Harper, we work hard to ensure our clients receive the best possible service and their property dreams come true. Whether you are a vendor, landlord, buyer or tenant, your complete satisfaction is our number one priority.

That is why we’re delighted to thank Dave, Eva and Zoe for posting five-star reviews of our work on the RaterAgent website.

Like TripAdvisor, which contains 200 million-plus unbiased traveller reviews, RaterAgent is the UK’s most trustworthy, dedicated estate and letting agency review site. It is totally independent and boasts: “Any reviews that look like they were written by the agent, their mum – or a competitor of theirs – is excluded.”

Independent reviews are as important for the property sector as they are the travel trade. They not only allow us at Eden Harper to showcase how we put client satisfaction at the top of our priorities, they give you – our client – undisputable proof of our claims.

So it was great to see comments like “excellent service” and “efficient, helpful, professional. Great estate agents!” on Eden Harper’s RaterAgent page.

It’s not just RaterAgent that provides an outlet for clients to sing the praises of an estate agent. Eden Harper’s Google page also contains recent five-star reviews posted by our satisfied clients, as do our pages on Yell and AllAgents. And jump to the Testimonials page on this site to see more of what our clients think of Eden Harper.

But we’re not resting on our laurels. It has been exceptionally busy in our Brixton office for the past three months and we would encourage all of the many landlords, tenants, vendors and buyers we have helped to post a review of our work on the many review sites out there.

It would be great to read more comments like: “From valuation through to completion, the service provided was excellent.” This is not just to massage our egos, it gives vendors and landlords who are having difficulty identifying a Brixton estate agent that will work with them to maximise the value of their property the confidence that Eden Harper will exceed all their expectations.

How much is your home worth?

And with property prices in Brixton continuing to rise, new vendors could significantly boost their bank balance. The average price of a home in SW2 and SW9 now stands at £648,909 – 3% higher than the average price of £627,769 that was being paid in August 2014.

According to the research by HomeCo, the average asking price of a two-bed property in Brixton has jumped 6% to £549,817 since August 2014, while four-bed family homes are now going on the market for an average of £1,013,624 – 11% higher than August last year.

Demand for all types of homes in Brixton remains high, which means it takes an average of just four weeks to receive an acceptable offer on a property for sale. But whether you are buying or selling, time is running out if you want to be settled in your new home before Christmas.
