Battersea Park In Concert 2024!

Unpack your picnic, pop the fizz and sit back and enjoy beautiful music in majestic surroundings this August Bank Holiday. 'Battersea Park in Concert' is all about celebrating the capital with music, family and friends.  

After a triumphant first year the concert weekend is set to return, bringing classical, musical theatre, jazz and gospel music to the beautiful surroundings of the park. 

Saturday 24th August hosts 'Proms in the Park' with the London Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and guest presenter Mylene Klass.  Expect classical pieces familiar and surprising and a spectacular fireworks display to finish!

On Sunday 25th August the West End comes to Battersea with stars of the stage bringing songs from Chicago, Six, Rent, South Pacific, The Greatest Showman and many more!  Backed by the London Concert Chorus and the London Philharmonic Concert Orchestra this will be a unique and thrilling event for all musical theatre fans!

On the Sunday afternoon the music starts at 2pm with a 18-piece jazz that will delight jazz fans from newcomers to regulars. Guest singers, direct from the legendary Soho club will be singing the music of Ella Fitzgerald to Stevie Wonder, Cab Calloway to Frank Sinatra, Chaka Khan and more before the London African Gospel Choir bringing their joyous interpretation of Paul Simon’s Graceland album.   To end the night and the series the action-packed Swinging at the Cotton Club renacts the nightclubs of the 1920s and ‘30s - featuring a full swing band and the Lindy Hop Dance Company.
