The Olympics are here!

So today we finally get to the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, delayed by 12 months due to the Pandemic. Already shrouded in negative publicity we now see the action finally take centre stage.

It will be a strange Games with no fans but the GB team are set to make history as for the first time in 125 years we have more female athletes than men vying for medals.

From our youngest ever athlete 13 year old skateboarder Sky Brown to genuine gold medal contender Dina Asher-Smith in her bid to be crowned the fastest woman on the planet we have a rich variety of talent on display.

Battersea residents can watch it all live in a fantastic setting alongside the river at the Coaling Jetty, Battersea Power Station which is live streaming The Games on an outdoor cinema and theatre.
