London Design Festival comes to Battersea

Wandsworth Council is excited to participate in the London Design Festival from 14-22 September 2024 with the Battersea Design District becoming a hub of artistry for new and existing audiences. Councillor Kemi Akinola highlighted the opportunity for residents and visitors to explore Wandsworth's diverse artistic community ahead of the 2025 year of culture. Six council-commissioned projects will take place in the district as part of the festival's wider programme.
The Battersea Design District will feature exhibitions, performances by local creatives, sound and art installations, craft workshops, guided walks and opportunities to learn more about the changing landscape of Wandsworth and its ‘Year of Culture’ status for 2025. Some are free and some have paid tickets to buy in advance so check the details for each event.
